We originally had a component library built in Sketch, but over time, it became outdated and hard to maintain as our products and team evolved. Designers were spending too much time rebuilding components or tweaking things to fit, which slowed down our workflow and led to inconsistencies across experiences. We knew we needed a more flexible, scalable system — something that could keep up with how fast we were moving. Rebuilding the component library in Figma gave us a fresh start. We used Figma variables to create a strong foundation with things like color, typography, spacing, and sizing, so that every component is built consistently from the ground up. Now, designers can move faster, stay aligned, and spend more time focusing on creating better, more unified work.
